FAMILY MEDIATION IN SYDNEY
Our main family mediation rooms in Sydney are in the Chifley Tower in Sydney CBD.
This location is convenient to trains, bus and ferry and the new light rail.
We also have other locations across the greater Sydney area and can work with you to find the most convenient location for your Sydney family mediation
WHAT CAN I EXPECT COMING TO YOUR SYDNEY FAMILY MEDIATION ROOMS?
Our family mediation rooms consist of a main room for discussion as a group.
This room has a full length window providing lots of natural light.
For private discussions with your family mediation or family lawyer, we have separate rooms.
If you need to take a break over lunch, we have informal, comfortable booth style seating with views overlooking Sydney Harbour.
DO I HAVE TO ATTEND FAMILY MEDIATION IF I AM WORRIED ABOUT MY SAFETY?
The safety of all parties attending family mediation is of absolute importance to us.
We can conduct your family mediation in separate rooms.
Your former partner will not know which room you are in.
We can stagger arrival and leaving times and make sure you don't come into contact at all.
There are exceptions to attending compulsory family dispute resolution if a safe environment cannot be provided.
However, our experienced Sydney family law mediators are trained to understand the dynamics of family violence and how to provide a safe space for you to negotiate.
Sometimes having a say in the outcome is better than being dragged through court with no say in the result.
HOW LONG DOES MEDIATION TAKE?
We understand that your time is important to you.
We often have clients who need to pick up children from school or after school care, or get back to work.
Our family mediators understand that being under time pressure, makes for bad agreements.
We schedule all our Sydney family mediation sessions at times that work for you, with half day sessions taking approximately 4 hours.
